Veronica Mahathre, LPC, NCC
Veronica is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor who strives to help clients face identity, emotional, behavioral, and cultural challenges. Veronica has worked in the field of behavioral health for over 12 years. She uses her Public Health background to bring a systems perspective, providing a holistic approach to each client she works with. Veronica is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Narrative Exposure Therapy to empower clients with tools to build and maintain a life worth living. She has a passion for working with adults with ADHD, having developed her own curriculum of group therapy for managing symptoms of ADHD. In addition, Veronica uses her own personal journey and continued study, to provide a supportive space for members of South Asian communities navigating their identity development.
Veronica provides a warm and validating space for clients to be authentic and collaborates with clients to reach their goals. She values the power of connection and community to help clients increase their confidence and get support to thrive in their lives. Veronica works with adult clients and is currently accepting new clients at New Directions Professional Counseling, offering Telehealth and in-office sessions with weekend availability.
